


A representative of the Office of the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Aida Kayzhakparova, together with representatives of the Academy of Justice under the Council – Rector Kanat Mussin, Director of the Centre for Academic Programmes and Projects Maygul Abilova, Leading Research Fellows Gulshat Takisheva, Azamat Nurtan and International Projects and Research Coordinator Naziya Muratbek – took part in the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum, held on 28-29 May 2026 at the Congress Centre in the capital, within the framework of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship of the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The delegation attended the panel session “EAEU Law and the Activities of the Court of the Union in the Context of Digital Transformation: Potential for Development.” The session focused on the development of Union law and Eurasian justice at a time when digital technologies and artificial intelligence are increasingly entering the economy and public administration.
The participants of the session discussed the role of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union in ensuring the uniform application of Union law, as well as the challenges and opportunities that digital transformation opens up for the legal system of Eurasian integration. Particular attention was paid to the potential for developing the legal mechanisms of the EAEU under the new technological conditions.
Participation in the forum reflects the interest of the High Judicial Council and the Academy of Justice in studying current trends in the development of law across the Eurasian space and in strengthening professional and academic ties in the field of justice and legal integration.
