On January 5, 2025, the professional practice of master students of the Academy of Justice in the courts of Astana city ended.The nine-week professional internship was aimed at practical consolidation of the theoretical knowledge acquired by undergraduates during their studies, as well as at acquiring the skills necessary for future professional activities.In particular, undergraduates gained practical knowledge, skills and abilities in reviewing and resolving cases in accordance with the four types of legal proceedings.Following the internship, the undergraduates compiled reports and mock-ups of court cases, which will be evaluated in the process of defending practice reports.In addition, during the internship, undergraduates had the opportunity to collect practical material necessary for writing their master’s projects.

Professional practice is an important component of the training process for future judges.
