On February 28, 2025, an International Round Table was held on the topic: “Enhancing the Efficiency of the Judiciary System in Kazakhstan: Achievements and Initiatives.”
The round table was attended by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Legal Issues E. Zhiyenbayev, the Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Astana, and the President of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA). Representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan were also present. Additionally, there were representatives of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA) and the President of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice.
The participants discussed issues related to modernizing judicial administration, improving the system for assessing the professional activities of judges, and matters concerning disciplinary proceedings.
A report at the round table was delivered by K.K. Musin, Acting Rector of the Academy of Justice under the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his speech, he outlined the main goals and activities of the Academy of Justice, as well as the progress in implementing the tasks set within the framework of the Development Concept of the Academy of Justice for 2025-2027.
