Open lecture by an Associate professor M.Zh. Omarbekova
On February 5, 2025, an open lecture was held by an Associate Professor of the Scientific and Educational Center for Criminal Law Disciplines, candidate of legal sciences M.Zh. Omarbekova on the discipline «Style, context and skills of drafting procedural documents in criminal cases». The lecture was dedicated to the topic: «Judicial verdict: concept, meaning, structure, its requirements».
During the lecture, the peculiarities of sentencing were considered, detailed structuring and the scheme of drafting a court verdict was analyzed. The lecture was held at a high level, the master’s students showed keen interest and actively participated in a meaningful discussion.
M.Zh. Omarbekova, being a judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, generously shared her rich experience, knowledge and gave examples from her real practice. The Academy of Justice strives to invite judges to conduct disciplines, since the educational process is based on the principle of “judges teach judges”.
