On September 5, 2024, the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial
Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan was visited by Jarosław Vladimirovich
Turłukowski, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Trade Law at the
Institute of Civil Law of the University of Warsaw, commissioner of the Dean of
the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw for relations
with the East, Director of the Center for Research on Law of Eastern Europe and
Central Asia of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of
Warsaw.
Professor J.V. Turłukowski gave a guest lecture to the Academy’s master
students on the topic: “The role of the Supreme Court of Poland and the Supreme
Administrative Court of Poland in the unification of judicial practice”
During the lecture, Professor J.V. Turłukowski told the master students
about the specifics of the activities of the Supreme Court of Poland and the
Supreme Administrative Court of Poland, about their role in the unification of
judicial practice, about the problems that arise during consideration of various
categories of court cases, about the historical features of the formation of the
judicial system of Poland.
Master's students took an active part in the discussion of the topic presented
by the lecturer and showed interest in studying the experience of Poland in
resolving issues related to the formation of uniform law enforcement practice.
