Scientific and practical conference «Dialogue on the right to effective remedies of legal protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan»
On February 20, 2025, Acting Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Criminal Law Disciplines of the Academy of Justice under the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Legal Sciences B.R. Sembekova and coordinator of additional education programs, Master of Law D.A. Mergembayev participated in the Scientific and Practical Conference: «Dialogue on the right to effective remedies of legal protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan».
The conference was organized by the Kadyr-Kasiyet public association and the United Nations Democracy Foundation. The conference was attended by the national expert on human rights, Deputy Chairman of the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences T.D. Abishev, as well as scientists of Kazakhstan, representatives of government agencies, human rights organizations, judges of the Supreme Court, regional and district courts, advocates.
During the conference, B.R. Sembekova made a report and revealed the problem of judicial protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms as a procedural guarantee of criminal proceedings.
