Tashkent hosted a solemn ceremony dedicated to the official opening of the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event brought together distinguished international experts, heads of judicial bodies, government officials, public figures, and representatives of specialized educational institutions from across various countries.

The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by the delegation of the High Judicial Council headed by Chairman Dmitriy Mikhailovich  Malakhov.

In his welcoming address, Chairman Dmitriy Mikhailovich Malakhov emphasized the establishment of the Academy of Justice in Uzbekistan as an important step toward strengthening the judicial system and developing highly qualified judicial professionals. He also noted the shared priorities and mutual commitment of the judicial education institutions of both countries to advancing the rule of law and promoting professional excellence.

A significant milestone of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Academy of Justice under the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Acting Rector of the Academy Kanat Kalkamanovich Mussin highlighted that the memorandum creates a solid foundation for long-term academic and institutional collaboration. The partnership will facilitate the implementation of joint projects focused on judicial training, the introduction of innovative teaching methodologies, and the promotion of scientific and research initiatives in the field of justice.
