
On October 23, 2025, master’s students of the Academy of Justice under the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the international scientific and practical conference titled “State Sovereignty and Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan: History, Modernity and New Dimensions of Development.”
The event, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty, was held at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and brought together representatives of the Majilis of Parliament, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Institute of State History, as well as international experts from Bulgaria and Poland.
The conference discussions focused on the historical path toward Kazakhstan’s independence, the strengthening of national identity, and the expansion of the international cooperation.
The master’s students attended the event under the guidance of Professor Venera Abykhanovna Zheksembekova, Doctor of Political Sciences, showing great interest in the academic presentations and discussions.
Participation in the conference allowed them to broaden their understanding of the legal and historical aspects of state independence, and familiarize themselves with modern approaches to governance and reform.
