Guest lecture by Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.A. Ongarbayev
On February 24, 2025, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honorary member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences Yerkin Anuarovich Ongarbayev gave a guest lecture for master’s students of the Academy of Justice on the topic: «The Constitutional Court and its legal positions in the framework of criminal law».
During the lecture, E.A. Ongarbayev revealed the issues of the development of constitutional justice and the specifics of judicial control in foreign countries on the example of European countries and the United States of America. In addition, the lecturer focused on the activities and practice of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the guest lecture, Acting Rector of the Academy of Justice K.K. Musin presented Yerkin Anuarovich with a letter of thanks for fruitful cooperation and an open lecture for master’s students.
The guest lectures are aimed at implementing the principle of “judges teach judges”, which the Academy of Justice adheres during the educational process.
